Anyone know what's up in Taiwan?

I've got a friend going over there (Taipei, to be exact), he'd like to check out some nights, and get a gig if he can (live tech-house/breaks/step/etc). So far the most promising thing seems to be a club called the Partyroom

but there's not much info on that...
