Urbanite - Cold Steel

Post by urbanite » Thu Jul 17, 2008 9:47 pm

Hey y'all,

well here goes little bit of nothing :) this would be one of my first experiments in dubstep. I'm not too happy with the home made mastering that I did on it. I still would appreciate some thoughts and feedback about this track, although, it might not be the best representation of my typical sound on the whole. Still interesting what people would say to this anthemic crunk type thing :)

so here are the links to an MP3 (256kbps CBR) and an OGG (q=5):

i'm feeling the track, however the sound quality needs improving. it may just be because it's not a 320, but you may want to look into that

hmmm... I guess long hours of tweaking ozone 3 into sounding decent got to me in the end... gonna re-up everything with just a basic mix down of it... since I can't get the mastering right, no matter what I do :(

cheers :) will try clicking my heels next time... subtlety is really not my forte... especially when it comes to mastering tunes myself :(

have changed links to just straight mix downs of the track... should have less distortion from me trying to compress/limit everything I can out of it...
