there's some alright stuff going on here - but it can definitely be improved on..
try and vary it up a little. the drums sound really dry (especially the over-reverbed snare).. also try and use a bit of automation to give it a bit of diversity.
finally, you need to add different layers. at the moment you're just using drums and bass. even dnb uses more than that!
keep it up and let us know when you're done.

Agree with klimaxx you got some good things going on here. bass sounds nice and skankable. Drums are ok could do with improving them and need some atmospherics of some sort just to keep the tune going a bit more imo.
I to am a dnb head trying to make dubstep. Give my tunes a listen got a certain crossover feel to them.

cheers for the kind words mate. Not really to be honest only been making dubstep for a few months really i just keep working at them till i think everything sounds perfect really and just fell/created into a certain structure and sound that i liked. So i just carried that on with all my other tunes.Jarvy wrote:yer cheers i understand wat u mean by the atmospheric sounds,

yer i been mixing DnB for quite a while now but have to say i am getting a little bored of it, being from MK (Milton Keynes) the wobble scene is really big n im getting pretty sick of it tbh, to many tunes sounding exactly the same.....
Thats mainly y i'm getting into dubstep now, something new, something interesting, looks like the next evolution i'd say!
but yeh i just bought myself a collection of dubstep to get me started n its been keeping me busy
