so I've decided to start pranging about the future of my ear drums and I'm considering getting a decent set of earplugs so that I don't get hit with tinnitus as early as some of my friends. I'm willing to splash a fair bit of cash on them but looking for value rather than spending a hundred quid extra just for a pair that look slightly cooler (or slightly less gay) or are a tiny bit comfier.
any recommendations? thankyou kind sages

The alpine (I think) ones from chemicalrecords.co.uk are really good, they have the same filters as the £200 ones, and you can swap the filter depending on loudness, makes a real difference, not a bad sound either really, not too mushy if you use the right filter.
