LONDON 16 AUG 08: Wifey

Wifey is back, at a better venue and with its best line-up yet. It's all about bassline/niche/4x4 garage -- occasionally mixed with a little grime, funky, 2-step, booty and B-more.

(Obviously this isn't a dubstep event -- if it deserves to be deleted, fair enough -- but we thought there might be a few bassline appreciators on here who'd like to know.)

There's a rare London set from Leeds's WITTYBOY (Northern Line, Music Hustler) plus Rinse FM's bassline representative REKLESS.

They're backed up by Night Slugs residents BOK BOK AND MANARA, 7 Year Glitch promoter DJ VENOM and Wifey's own residents -- Love's Tru Flavour and Hard Target.

For those who don't know Visions, it's no doubt Dalston's best basement: great atmosphere, good sound, and TVs all over the walls!
