Post by start : stop » Thu Jul 31, 2008 6:52 pm

Unless i've gone blind i'm surprised no one has posted this yet. FWD & Rinse taking over the whole of The End.

Skream vs Benga
N-Type vs Youngsta
Kode 9
Spyro vs Mac 10
Luke Envoy vs Headhunter
Crazi Cousinz vs DJ NG

By funky.. do you mean funky house? I've heard some God awful funky house (well 99.99999% of it is shite) on the station.

I'd be going for dubstep and bass. Not mincing house.

lol i dunno how much u have heard, but like many genres u need to listen closely to find bits u like...

i thought it was a bit light hearted and poncy at first, but i found bits i like which are nice and dancey with a bit of soul/tribal/deep sound. if u can appreciate house music in general, u can find ur feet on this eventually. id say only a quarter off it really feels like a creative production while the rest fills the gaps...

BUT in its credit it does feel like an actual sub genre of house, rather then sum tunes strung together, it does justify itself.

im just generally not a BIG fan of the form of house these days (even tho i like some bits) as its come a looooong way from its root, and i prefered the sound they had 20 years ago.

the system is well pony in there, is it going to be funky up to a point, and then they are going to play dubstep, or is it going to be the 2 rooms split?
