Jeff Mills- Live at the Liquid Rooms, Tokyo. Buy it. Listen. Enjoy. Quick mixes. Nuff said.
Have a listen to some Richie Hawtin for the more minimal stuff. his latest release has a dvd in surround sound and the track names fade in an out as he mixes... sometimes 4/5 tunes at once...
Maybe you should come to Haywire Sessions for some quality techno/electro/bass mashup mixes. All beats welcome. Oh yeah, check out www.adapteri.com/betoni for about 70-odd mixes of loadsa techno (alot of dubby style techno smooth rollin vibes), acid, tech house, minimal, electro, IDM, an ting an ting... safe! 8)

Blackdown has mentioned most of my faves already but i also like
Carl craig- more songs about revolutionary food and art
Plastikman - all that shit is good !!
juan atkins
leo anabaldi
dave angel
the advent
aux 88 (more detroit bass than techno)

look for labels like metroplex, plus8, minus, transmat, djax upbeats (although some of that gets abit too hard), nova mute have put out some good techno, old warp stuff is cool too..

if you can still get a copy theo parrish falling up remix by carl craig is amazing (they did have some on juno) i think its detroit beatdown remixs no2

the plasticman mix cd's are awesome !! dex fx and 909's etc

the stuff on
~scape
is really good.

Check out my buddy Kit Clayton on ~scape, Soul Jazz and Orthlorng Musork.

A couple of other names I have not seen mentioned yet are-
Claude Young, if you get a chance see him dj live- in 96 I had the honour of opening up for him and DBX
- amazing dj's. Claude Young looks and sounds like he has 8 arms when he dj's.
Also check out DBX aka Dan Bells music.

Lets see hmm..- Kenny Larkin has some good stuff out.
Some others..
Stacy Pullen
Aril Brikha
Jay Denham.
Aux 88 more on the electro side but aweseome none the less
Octave One
Mike Shannon
Mike Ink
Thomas Fehlman
Mikkel Metal
Apparat
Rene Lowe aka -Vainqueur

I could list this stuff forever.

I have been listening to alot of Mode Selektor recently as well.
Of course everything everyone mentioned above is top notch..

<personal plug> --Listen to my show on subfm I usually drop some dubby techno into my sets..

not sure what techno you like the most, but my main gig is techno. been spinning it for 11 years and producing for 3. mostly harder stuff, but a little electro, minimal funk and whatever strikes my fancy thrown in between...i love ALL kinds of techno, but i really just have a ball playing the stuff that makes people shake their butts and bang their fists at the same time...

mixes are at www.djshiva.subterror.com on the audio page. entelechy (studio mix), live at chroma, and live at ultraviolet are my favorites. these are all fairly old mixes, since recording lately has always ended up getting messed up, but they are still on point.

my tracks are on the myspace page. all fairly banging, but the greg gow mix has a bit o' dub flavor thrown into it. :)

lemme know what you think!
