aside from dubstep i also do solo doom/drone metal (for fun.. i don't really play it out or record it. think nadja..) and i am always looking for a good drummer. you might have just given me the perfect drummer!

and is always on beat (unless you program him to be offbeat, cuz you can do that)

yehh i use BFD 1.5 and its fucking immense...
havent really used it much when writing dubstep
but all the stuff at
www.myspace.com/redbuttonbluebutton (bit of a spamming there, sorry :p )
is done on it - then i play drums along to it live at shows n stuff
works nicleyy!

i had the bfd lite version when i bought my mpd32, it's nice, although i have to admit that it's mainly built for live-sounding drums (ok, you have the industrial kits and such..), and it's ace at that.
Using it for dubstep requires importing your own dubstep-related midi-templates and samples.
But it's perfect for us, layer'ers and skankers

yeah my friend adam showed me the beauty of BFD a while back.
if you use ableton, the "velocity" and "randomize" plugins are fun with it.
