Dubstep Alliance are proud to step into the Spring season with a headline set from J-Red, one of the NZ's original Dubstep selectors and resident Subtle DJ. Our new sound partner Full Funktion who will be rolling in one of their Funktion-One soundsystems especially for the night, the system takes clarity and bass reproduction to a new level and has to be heard to be believed !!
Off course we will have the big local lineup with OoGuN, Jason George, Scott Detail, Shutta, Seeka and resident host Dapht One pon the mic.
When: Wednesday September 10th from 9pm
Where: Rising Sun, 373 K’Rd, Auckland.
How Much: $10 on the door
Drink Specials: $5 Summit on tap, $10 Vodka Red Bull

Looking forward to a big night fo sure, funktion-one system is the icing on the cake, just got off the ph to J and hes amped, return of the Jason George key-mixing style, Scott Detail making the 'possibly on crutches' souljah mish, Shutta B-Day set.. Rinsing large time !!

Chur, pic is vibes, plenty familiar faces, love it.. As with others is on the bpm photos page, takes too long for me to add them to f.book without a decent widget or uploader.. Get the higher res version by clicking thru to 'view this photo on flickr' and 'all sizes' once there. Be choice if ya could mention beatspeoplemovement.com somewhere in the description or comments..

that was pretty frickin sweet,
whole new dimension of sound, clarity, and liquid bass blossoming up the walls and along the celings in sweet vibrations. Deep.
sweet warmup from the seeka, guy always delivers.
discerning selektion of real music from monsieurs George and detail, Oogun bringing the dubs & xclusives! & sterling set from a well versed head: J-Red, too!!
carving their own personality onto the music and abstaining from just defaulting to playing big bangers with big stupid sounds.
everyone present got an education in underground bass
on a
real system, dubstep represented as it should be, to play it on anything substandard is to cheat yourself of experiencing it on a deeper more sincere level.
Support true underground party vibes every fortnight.

and yeah monsieur jackal there was plenty smokin hot chicklets soaking up that bass,
(hmmm, decisions, decisions, do i get down to the music, oblivious to my surrondings, or do i stand there rubbing my small change leering at "steppettes" with a predatory glint in my eye.....)
