Recommend a Grime album please

Post by contraband » Wed Sep 10, 2008 6:18 pm

what's the best all rounder... I want something accessible... obviously nothing like any of Dizzee's or Wiley's latest stuff.... but a kind of NWA Straight Outta Compton / Dre 2001, classic-still-sounds-good-today(if its old doesn't have to be)

Cheers

this.

durrty goodz is the one, he's on a completley different level to the rest of the scene.

yeah i love it. bit of a weird album in lots of ways, funny mix of cheesy, grimy, wonkyness. 'what have u done?' is one of the best grime riddims ever, no fucking doubt

the virus sydicate LP "the work related illness" and the "contagious vol.1" album are def worth checking out :D

Be so sick if Trim made a full album with some top producers, could easily be massive. Every grime mixtape i hear needs serious work tbh.
