Secret Agent Gel (Dubwar, Lowmotion, Rowdy)
Secret Agent Gel has spent ten years producing and preforming electronic music, concentrating on the perfect mix of danceable and interesting. The biggest influences were releases from Rephlex, Warp, Planet-mu and underground electronic music from the UK and the internet. His mix of genres have lead to releases as diverse as DubWar001 (dubstep, 2006) tracks on Recordcamp’s "Brooklyn Keeps On Takin’ It" compilation (breaks, 2003) and Badd Inc's first Electroclash compilation (electrohouse, 2004). He's toured the UK, Europe and around the US, playing with Kode 9, Hank ShockLee, Chicks on Speed, Datach’i and many more. As underground dance music from UK was always an influence, the sounds of dubstep, 2step and garage house have taken over the Secret Agent Gel studio. Currently he helps run two labels, Low Motion Records and Bass Tourist Records, and throws regular dance parties in New York City.

Nebulla & DJ Dore (Code Of Arms, La Dubstep Nostra, First City)
The New York based Dirtystep duo of DJ Dore and Nebulla put another spin on things, bringing the sound closer to home with their unique and homebrewed blend: Dirtystep. Whereas dubstep combines two step and breaks with Jamaican dub, Dirtystep brings the sound closer to home, adding a retro feel and the rough, rugged and raw vocals of dirty south hip-hop to the blend. Hot on the heels of their bicoastal success with Getting´Doe feat. Czar Black on La Dubstep Nostra, Nebulla and DJ Dore return with more fire, more ammunition, and more hard-hitting tracks on their own label Code Of Arms.

Soroka (Code Of Arms)
At the age of 14, Soroka began making and selling underground hip-hop mixtapes, which soon lead to an active interest in hip-hop production, with a specific emphasis on sampling. With limited traditional training, Soroka became a self-taught musician and a master of the art of sampling. Digging since 2000, he has developed an extensive sample archive, taking forgotten phrases from a wide variety of genres, with a focus on isolated parts. Unlike a lot of modern sample based music, Soroka seeks to use samples as moldable building blocks rather than just fixed canvases, when creating melodies. In 2005, Soroka began collaborating with DJ Nebulla on hip-hop and later dubstep tracks, further refining his ear and eclectic style of production. He was drawn to dubstep as it manages to achieve a diverse range of sound elements within a larger theoretical space while incorporating hip-hop and reggae, still maintaining its roots in dub and 2-step. Most recently he has released two COA tracks (Ganja Ting and River Jordan) and is now working with the First City Grime crew and MC Germz out of UK.

Looking forward to this. Tomorrow night! I'm on at midnight, and at 12.01 it's technically my birthday, so.
