I stumbled across an interesting website earlier...

Post by Dub_Fiend » Sun Sep 28, 2008 9:46 pm

Hey all,

I stumbled across this link while searching for something (god knows what, can't remember now :S) to do with Caspa and Rusko... It's basically a link to the publishing side of the club Fabric, and within this link contains a fair selection of their songs and some information concerning whether they have been released, and if so, what label the track was released on. The songs can be listened to through a flash player so you can't download the tracks, but there are a fair amount of tracks up there that I didn't even know they wrote.

Here is the link: http://www.fabricpublishing.com/results ... oose+Genre

I thought this link might be vaguely useful for people who wanted to hear some tracks (Like Jahova VIP for instance) which you wouldn't be able to hear in their entirety normally. Also, I haven't done it myself, but I figure you could have a fiddle and get back to the search page and look for other artists :)

Peace,

Dub Fiend x

http://www.fabricpublishing.com/music.php

from there you can search, or see a list of artists. wicked find mate, there's some tunes on there! although a few of the newer unreleased bits gave me an error (for example starkey - spacewalk, MOVES!!! - all skate, and the dtl cockney thug remix). guessing there aren't audio clips up yet for everything.

Yeah man, I was interested to hear the DTL remix of Cockney Thug but it wouldn't load up... Turns out it's not that great really though, don't really think any of the remixes really do it justice... the DTL one is too unlike the original, yet the Caspa one is too close... that, and he gave it a crap beat and changed the melody :P

But back on topic, I never clicked that music link but I assumed it was a search engine ;) Thanks for filling in the gap there selrahc :)

tbh i thought dtl killed it. i'd say it and the caspa version are both better than the original - the dtl one's got so much more drive, and caspa's version is basically just a ramped up edit of ruskos.

Would appear the former:

"Any artist or writers out there keen to submit material then please send CD’s"

In that sense Dubstep producers seem to be on the ball, they've sent over a load of stuff.
