When was the last time you did a good deed?
I just did one now, I recieved a spam email claiming to be HSBC but of course I don't have a bank account with HSBC.
I clicked a link in Firefox to report this web forgery and got presented with this quirky message:
Report Sent
Thank you for sending a report to Google. Now that you have done your good deed for the day, feel free to:
1. Take a second to rejoice merrily for doing your part in making the web a safer place.
2. Call/email/write to a neighbour/friend/relative and tell them what phishing is and how they can protect themselves.
3. Check out other extensions for Firefox from Google.
4. Spread the love by joining the Spread Firefox community.
So yeh, a mix between 1 & 2 here.
Other good deeds you have done? Gave your seat to a pregnant woman? Helped an old lady board the train/tube?

last week or the week before, i rounded up 2 garbage bags full of old clothes and took them to the Salvation Army to help the victims of the hurricane season in Cuba and Haiti. Other than that, giving non-biased advice on an almost daily basis. Doing good deeds produces a great feeling. It feels good to help others.

Last winter I found a middle aged woman collapsed drunk at 8:00am on the way to work. I could smell the booze on her from a few meters away and she had a layer of frost all over her. I helped her up and tried to push her in a sensible direction. After falling over a few times she got herself together and fell into a bush. I see her ever so often so I know she's still going but she hasn't got a fucking clue who I am.
Since then I've mostly been horrible

Depends on the character of the man. He could have saved an arsehole

Standard issue good deed of helping a mum carry a pram down the steps at the station.
That one has to be done each and every time.

Nah bruv got a train to catch!
Only jokin, at East Croydon they have these huge slopes - helped a man with a pram once getting onto the train and another time helped a family get their suitcases off of a train so I could get on.
Are good deeds really good though if you do them too often? The spontaneous deed is a good thing but if you help a friend out and it starts becoming a common thing which then...drives..you..down..?

good deeds are good by virtue of what they are. never can have enough of them. i'd say we could do well with a bit more good deeds done on a regular basis. i don't do as much as i used to but i keep thinking about it. Deams, thats awesome. Thats kinda something I'd like to do. Volunteer some time and help kids or something. They're so adorable.
