Boring / Lifeless people

Post by gwa » Fri Oct 10, 2008 8:31 pm

You know them people that when you speak to them you say, what music you into, the respond with umm i like radio one / galaxy.

Or another example

People that just eat bread and ham sandwiches or something similar, really basic people.

I can't get my head around people that aren't into music and arts and stuff, just dead boring people. They scare me.

I meet these people every single day of my life infact im surrounded by them.

Iv lost count how many times iv had to explain the whole dubstep vibe, i took one of my mates that dint have a clue about dubstep to see mala, stood him right at the front and soon as fatman by truth dropped i nodded as if to say this is dubstep in all its glory lol. hes now hooked. job done.

I know exactly what you mean.
Most people at my school are just boring people. never do anything original or funny, always following the crowd.
as for music, everyone i ask these days say 'yeah i like everything' and i think, you absolute twat. how can you like everything? don't you take pride in looking for good music and listening to tunes that you like?

if only i had some friends that weren't like that...

Everybody is passionate about something, and when they speak about it they are far from lifeless. Just because their passions differ from yours doesn't make them boring, which is probably the way they judge you too.

Ha, I lived in Japan and I would ask my students what their favorite food was, and lots of people would say rice. Rice? come on now, it's good yes, but your fucking favorite food, give me a break.

Yeah plenty of those at work, eating porridge for lunch is a good indicator too.

Equally annoying is people that pretend to be into what you're into. I told someone at work i listened to dubstep and he was like 'yeah yeah i've heard a few bits'. Few days later Radio 6 played a funky tune so i piped up that i was surprised they were playing this. Said colleague says 'what dubstep tune is this?'

Well, if you are into loads of different music you are naturally going to say "a bit of everything" purely out of a desire to not list all the different kinds of music you are in to.

also, i have become a little bored of talking about music. I've liked music for so long that the idea of talking about it is kinda like talking about the fact i can breath.
