I have heard of sites where you can submit music and people such as film makers can browse them and find content. But i do not know how usefull if at all they are, i'm sure there are better ones that you have to pay for. I have no idea what they are called but if you find out let everyone know!

However what you really want is a publishing deal. this means that someones owns an agreed percentage of your tracks, it is a common clause in most modern record deals. You'll have to do your own research but, if you find a good publishing company, that deal on a regular basis with the film industry send them over your tracks (by post i would reccomend) . If they like them they will sign you up and as they will now have a vested interest in your music will make it their responsability to tout your music to appropriate third parties.
