Record effects parameters in logic 8

Post by forensicdj » Thu Oct 16, 2008 7:12 pm

Hello
I know this is probably a fairly basic question. I have recently started using logic after using reason for a long time. I can't find how to record a change in effects parameters. For example if I wanted to record an automation of the filter frequency, how is this done on logic?

Cheers

I use an older version of logic, and it's a case of hit record and turn the parameter how you want it to. alternatively you can draw automation.

i don't use reason so i'm unsure if it is any different for re-wired instruments.

you need to record enable the channel:

on the left, where you see the list of channels and the solo and mute buttons, click the little 'R' button. then hit record on the transport panel :)
