I find Ianucci a bit hit and miss sometimes..In The Thick of It was absolutely superb though..best brit comedy since the Office.

Armando Iannucci's a bit of a hero of mine, but Time Trumpet looks gash. He was doing all that audio/video cut up stuff years ago, and much better

the most underrated comedy series of the 90s - got no press, no repeats, hardly any advertising, but it's off the heezy i swear. there's been a campaign over at the chris morris forum cook'd and bomb'd to get a dvd release, but i think it'll only happen after a thick of it dvd release.

Amazing show, and yes, it's finally getting a DVD release! I think my homemade poor-quality DVD has worn out. Basically, everyone who has even a passing interest in comedy should own a copy.

But then again in comparison to 95% of comedy in the last few years it hit it's mark most of the time. The Cameron/Blair thing at the end was just too spot on.

I think it all looked pretty lazy to me, considering the technology now. Not The Nine O' Clock News was 25 years ago and the cut ups and editing still look good!

Thought it was almost invariably brilliant. Only lazy thing I thought was when Gordan Brown's speech was messed about with- that's been done to death now.
