.....in 8 days and i cnt find a house/flat/bungalo/cardboard box any where!
think im just going to have to except the fact i am shortly going to become homeless and will be losing lots of my possesions to the council!!!

anyone looking for a house mate?

I wish I could help you, just pitch a tent on Dev Green. Close to the city centre, nice views, good schools nearby, split-level landscaping...

i was once kicked out of where i was staying...couch surfing actually...in an hour. i was at work-on lunch break and got texts asking why i didnt take my stuff.....and what i wanted them to do with it. apparently they just decided to close their doors and take their couch back cause i had to leave work and go home, pack my shit, throw half my stuff away and take 2 big suitcases and figure it all out.

so i feel you man. that SUCKS> real bad! i stayed in a hotel for 2 days till i ran out of money. then i couldnt get to work and just ended up using the last money i had to order a plain ticket back to moms.

Even in my poorest days I could afford to pay a share of rent somewhere... shit neighborhoods, but, whatever. I mean if you make 10 bucks an hour you can still afford to live in some shitty ass apartment in the ghetto.

Board up the Windows, change the locks and get with the squatter vibe! Baseball bats and big dogs to back it up. Seriously tho' you do have rights as an occupant of the house. Is it just you or are there other people there as part of a house-share? Worst case scenario - get in touch with the local housing department through the council and see if the have any emergency accommodation, fuck street-walking.

The housing situation in this country is seriously fucked at the moment, most rental properties in the North are owned by rich southerners looking to make an easy buck, and you dun know the banks will repossess the homes of low income families before they lower the value of all the Buy-to-let properties purchased in the last year to save the asses (and assets) of the rich.

I wish you luck whatever you decide to do, keep us informed.
