REMIX CONTEST - win 100€ in prizes beside release on D.D.R.!

We hereby proudly announce the second official Dubstep Division Recordings remix contest.

This time we offer not only an instrumental Dubstep tune to be remixed but also an accapella to be refixed (you'll have to build the entire beat on your own for this one since we will "only" supply the accapella). The instrumental tune to be remixed is Don Goliath's brand new heavyweight Dub "Mrs. U.", the accapella to be refixed is Don Goliath's "Lot's Wife". You can listen to both here: www.dongoliath.com/demo.html

The prize for the winner of each of the 2 remixes is a 50€ voucher for www.digital-tunes.net (choice of tunes as well as format choice is completely up to the winner) kindly sponsored by digital-tunes.

Beside the two winning remixes all remixes being rated worthy by the jury will be released on Dubstep Division Recordings as digital release (professional mastering included).

If you would like to participate message us your email address then we will reply with detailed info, technical instructions and the download link to the original files (dry 8bars loops of each single track in 16bit 44.1kHz wav for the instrumental tune; one full length stereo 16bit 44.1kHz wav for the accapella). There will only be one entry allowed per participant and per tune. Yes, this means you can go for remixing both, the instrumental tune AND the accapella tune, if you like to. Please note that the musical style of both remixes has to be Dubstep!

The jury consists of three Dubstep Division Recordings members which are: Don Goliath, TSR-07, and Blunt Shelter

Deadline to send in your finished remix as a preview in mp3 format by email is: February 1st 2009

Date for the jury to announce the 2 winners as well as notifying all producers whose remixes will be released is: February 15th 2009 (they will be announced on our myspace page and will get notified by email)

Happy remixing,

D.D.R. Remix Contest Team
