It'll all come back to the point that you were committing an offence.
urinating discreetly into a bush of a petrol station
is your downfall on this one.

They're fucking shit stnuc the old bill, good for nothing fuckheads...this sounds exactly what to expect from those bullied all the way through school.
Who are you going to address that to? Do you know anyone who has complained through this method before? Just wondering as I would find out personally, before sending it..If you dont get no reply just be an arsehole everytime you come into contact with them in future.
If you get a response though, keep us updated, its interesting to see how they deal with complaints like this

At the end of the day mate, there's a lot of knobhead coppers, it sounds like you met a few of them.
But if you're in that situation, surely it's better to 'suck up' as you say, than spend a night as you've described and then get clobbered with a fine. I'd imagine that complains like this ring out across the country after every weekend, but I honestly don't think you'll be able to do anything about it, or anything will happen as a result.

yeah it sounds harsh but you shouldn't have been pissing in that bush! a petrol station is a public place don't forget!
if you give a policeman an excuse to fuck you, there's a fair chance he will fuck you.
policemen get PAID to fuck you, seriously what did you expect?

If they've marked it up to drunk and disorderly then you're a bit fucked I think. If it was a public order offence/ fixed penalty notice I think you could appeal on grounds of there were persons within hearing or sight likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress. If not, then, no leg to pee on.
If you weren't read your rights yu've got grounds there, but if you were pissed then they'll say you didn't hear it.

Although that was a crime

there is no need for them to go on the way they did, they go on some sort of power trip.

sounds normal to me.
there is a thread on here about rights where I posted a load of links that could be helpful, you should be able to find them, google know your rights will allow you to back up each point with the refrence to the law.

to be fair this happens to loads of people, people get pissed off cause of it, look into putting in a complaint, either too lazy to go through with it, or nothing happens cause in the end you were pissing in a bush, your word against theirs - court will easily side on them being 'lawful and trusted' compared to 'some drunk contravening the public disorder act'.
i suggest throwing grenades back at that police station a lot more discretely than what you were doing before, that'll make a difference.

......nice yeah I'll have a look and back stuff up before sending anything to the police complaints commission, aparrently if I wasn't given my rights and officially arrested its quite a big deal (but also a big acusation I have to be willing to back up) , no detainee rights and no offer of legal aid or phoning friends and being kept awake in uncomfortable conditions can be argued but all of those can be countered by saying I was too drunk so can't really win...least I can do is try and cause a bit of hassle to this guy who went well out of his way to cause me as much hassle as possible, hopefully if enough people do it he'll spend a bit less time on power trips and a bit more on the streets trying to sort out serious crime.
other place is citizens advice, they usually have weekly "clinics" probably find so good info from them, check you local councils page
