3rd track, following with a dark feel still.

Youtube High Quality - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MGxiGe6Y77A&fmt=18

Youtube Normal - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MGxiGe6Y ... re=channel

Myspace - www.myspace.com/afteedub

Feedback appreciated, sorry if it sounds a bit distorted at parts...i've really got no clue when it comes to mastering the tracks and all. =\

If anybody would like a 320 though let me know.

Big up. Awesome track man. Dark, heavy and psychedelic.
Around 1:10 up until ~ 1:37 it feels a bit empty...
Otherwise, huge track.

Big tune. I like the trippy vibes of the tuned combined with the trippy vocal samples, and the constant evolution of the track is cool. This track seems to have all of the components really complimenting each other; I didn't hear anything competing for space at all - nice work. I wouldn't complain if you threw a 320 my way; actually, I would be pretty stoked if you did

Thanks for the feed you guys, 320s sent. Kinda stoked myself, didn't really expect this many people to like the music 3 tunes in.

Chris you kinda got the exact feel I had when I made the track itself. :)
Started it out kinda eerie leading up to the "drop" then had it chill out kinda, then just finish off.

Might try to kind of follow a "storyboard" with my next tracks, if you get what I'm saying.

Thanks for listening again!

I dig it dude! I absolutely love the O.D.B. samples... they are perfect in there!

You can take care of that clipping by giving yourself some more headroom. Watch while your track plays for what channel is going into the red and EQ, lower, adjust that one accordingly till you get it to stop clipping. You might try first lowering all the levels a bit evenly. It's hard not to keep raising levels when you make tracks because stuff always sounds better louder. I'm always on the red at the end and then have to go through and back down levels, so, I for sure feel ya pain!

320 sent. Thanks for the listen guys.

@neosis, What do you use to EQ your tracks out? I'm producing them in Fruity Loops but I don't see any tools in there to master tracks the right way, unless there's something hiding from me. So if I need to export each track individually and master it in another program, i'm willing to do so.

Yeah, always end up slowly raising volume levels while putting it together, haha.

Anyways thanks for the knowledge and listens, glad you guys like it.

Press F9 to bring up the mixer if it isn't already... by clicking on "main" you'll see on the right numbers 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 with arrows next to them... if you click on an arrow, and then go to "select" there are EQs there. Parametric EQ 2 is good. Click on it and then it will load it into the channel. Clicking it will open it.

You can do this for each channel. Everything you put in, you can assign it to an FX channel (upper right of the channel settings dialog box). I generally EQ on each seperate channel if I need too... and I /think/ this is what most people do... although sometimes a bit of EQ on the main channel can be nice if you want to warm the sound by bleeding off some highs or something.

Kinda gotta play with it. Hopefully some of that made sense, I suck at explaining things. If you click on the arrow where you loaded your EQ, you can also try some the presets ... which you probably won't use but are helpful for seeing how EQing changes the sound.

There are also soft clipping tools and things like that which can be helpful depending on what you are trying to tame.

Ahh yeah, I know about the EQ on there, it just never seems to work right when I mess with the shit. Not really sure how to get it down, maybe a little practice or some tuts could help on that though. Thanks for the help though, and listening to the tracks. ez
