i'm watching the acceptance speech right now.

i am just thinking 'wow'. he seems so much sincere and intelligent than any other politician. well see how it goes tho, eh.

where i am, out in east county san diego, you'd think it was the ozarks or something... all these people pissed off that "the african" won. when they see my "i voted" sticker, they ask who i voted for, and i just dont tell 'em...

just watched the speech. powerful stuff., very positive. he seems to have a bit of presence as he speaks... the next few months/years are going to be interesting.
how long before he is fully made president? weeks or months?

it's 5.25 am here. i may as well stay up now.

i saw a clip on the news here yesterday interviewing a mc cain supporter, it went like this -
"mc cain, mc cain. i know where he's at and i know where he's headed. i'm afraid of obama"

the oddest thing to me was the way her expression changed when she "i'm afraid of obama"

it was fear in her face.

most relieved and happy to see Obama in.... and a most dignified acceptance speech to boot. am also worried about a potential backlash to this from some extremists though, some of the Republican reactions to the news were, quite frankly, alarming. Popemobile-esque transport definitely a must.
