Anyone know of a release date?
This was the stand out tune when they played B2B with Hatcha on Kiss the other week.
I have to say, Chase & Status are putting out the banging dubs at the moment!

sounds like eastern jam + saxon + "madhouse" sample. as much as i enjoyed chase&status' debut tunes, they have to try new things, too.

Defo, its a shame cos they are really versitile producers, they have made sum of the best DnB tracks over the years, which are all from very different angles from 1 another, dunno why when making dubstep they keep recycling the same material. Sure they will have sum fresh stuff dubstep wise in the not to distant future, cos they are more than capable.
Talkin of versitile DnB producers

imagine Ed Rush & Optical having a crack at a few dubstep tunes

all of those are rubbish (appart from eastern jam).
I have, however been blown away by the very last tune they played on hatchas show, only hear about a minute of it right at the very end. That tune is ILL!! ive had it in my head all day, absolutely sick

its a different genre to them, they have been making DNB for years, but not dubstep, their technical ability should help them make the transition
speaking of Optical, i got to see him like a month or two ago, it was great!

While I agree that they're wearing out that bass effect, I still think this one sounds different enough and certainly sounds a lot different in tone and atmosphere to any other dubstep tune I've heard lately.
I'm getting kind of sick of people slagging off Chase & Status when other producers like Jakes, Benny Page, Crissy Criss etc are all getting pretty much universal praise when their tunes are all very similar as well.*
The fact is that they've produced some of the biggest dancefloor smashers of recent months, for both Drum & Bass and Dubstep.
*Disclaimer: I'm not slagging off any of the above in any way, I'm loving em all at the moment.

Their production is next level, have you seen ther studio now... they have been producing underground dance music in the broadest sense for years (anyone read the ATM interview?) cant believe people still see them as jumping on the bandwagon like any producer outside the scene hadnt heard of Dubstep 3 years ago..
Rant over, good tune imo

Heres my take on it, they make tunes that are well within their comfort zone. Yes the production is probably better than anyone else but that doesnt necessarily make the tune a good tune. Itl sound good but something like saxon or madhouse does nothing for me personally.

listen to the last tune on this mix. Trust best tune theyve done by far cos its different.
