i know we have a lot in common, but is crime out of control in london yet?
i can't help but think it's only going to get worse, as it has over here.
the music reflects its culture, personally i'd like to see more positivity.
it's miserable enough dealing with these problems here but to see the same exact patterns generating is a bit upsetting. stay strong youts. and stay up.

where's here?

if the negativity youre refering to is what you hear in grime, then bear in mind its mostly drama, exageration and amounts to little more than yype

here is in maryland, baltimore and washington d.c.
i honestly don't know if the mc's are serious about when they talk about shootings etc. but it's not a joke in the u.s. and i'm in no way trying to insult anyone, just a bit discouraged if everything's turning into the same over in london.

yeah man it is bad enough about the american youth being brought up to these ideas of 'sell enough rocks to park a benz in the bricks'

I thought that was the American Dream still, isn't every US citizen brought up to believe in that ? in one way or another.
