jus found out that
this guy is partly responsible for my beloved grim dubs vol 2 and 4. it's not that surprising if you know his
dj mixes which are quite ecclectic and blend 'the dubstep flavas with acid, glitch-hop, proto-grim, jeep beats etc.' [
gutta, 25.09.05] i really love the way he creates a certain, very dark mood and sound over the whole mix without getting monotonic [? - my english is fuckin whack] or genre fixated. best example is his
sept 05 mix, which is on my md since, well, september and never fails to suck me in to a world of sweet and dark fantasies and apocalyptic nightmares i never enjoyed before [sounds sick? never mind

].
haven't heard his varial release til now...
btw.: do anyone know where i can buy the werk releases in mp3-format? a friend of mine don't want to buy the vinyl [too expensive]

Cheers for the kind words bp and triac... I think the Varial release is available for download at Bleep, though I dunno about the Werk releases.
@ Bruno. I'm going to be in Sao Paulo for the foreseeable future, so hopefully will get to catch up with you at some point. Had a few gigs out here and people seem to go wild for the dubstep. Dropped a load of Menta, Skream, Hot Flush etc on Saturday at Quebrada and people lapped it up. They respond well to bass out here.

Didnt a member of the Kanasas City Prophets have something to do with Grim Dubs 4?
Or was it 3....?

Great! We are working hard to promote Dubstep here... It's cool when we hear a feedback from who saw the dancefloor enjoy the sound... Wicked!
Best,
Bruno Belluomini.

As far as I know, this is acurate:
WERK 003 Monkey Steak - Grim Dubs Vol. 1
WERK 004 Uberdog/Binray - Grim Dubs Vol. 2
WERK 005 Kansas City Prophets - Grim Dubs Vol. 3
WERK 006 Mr.Lizard/Kyma & Uberdog - Grim Dubs Vol. 4
