the best time i've had at fwd all damn year. the incredible return of slimzee (the only man who could drop 'i luv u' and not have it sound like a populist throwback choice!), a great set from hatcha, and almost two hours of tubby and the generals (stamina gang!) - there was a really 'up' party vibe all night. special.

more of that please! :D

out to the birthday boys tubby and also bok bok! my head is still swimming :|

Slimz rolled out classics we often forget about, aswell as the odd dubplate thrown in!

Fingers crossed his set was recorded, it was on point!

Hatcha started as im sure he finished -with bombs!!

Yet again, FWD reaches capacity!!

absolutely fucking spectacular. this is what we been saying, dubstep should feature but not dominate like back when i first started going and fell in love with the night and that system. those 2002-3 beats are my favourite music of all time. best birthday ever

slimzee's set was all right, i dunno, i find it hard to get excited about that kind of stuff at this point in time.

i also thought hatcha started off a little too anonymously techy but he got things moving later on ...

and of course the generals smacked it to pieces. amazing set from them

Wasn't there yesterday but I haven't been feeling Hatcha's selection for a while either. Apart from the odd Coki track, nothing really seems to stand out amongst all that plastic bubbly stuff.

what you prefer hearing 45 minutes of near-identical back to back coki tunes??
each to their own i suppose

Was feeling all the sets. Everyone brought something different to the table. Slim rolled out the big classics.

Was really feeling Hatcha's second track.

Had to leave before tubby went on, had to pick someone up from somewhere else.

Gutted

I know what you mean. I could sit and listen to dubstep and similar DJ's all night, but having a grime set or a mixture of darker grime and dubstep like Geenueus and Plastician is always welcome. Geeneus and Plastician are quite similar in their selection as well, which made Slimzee's set that much more refreshing. Wouldn't mind seeing Bossman have a go too.
