oh come on! :? am i taking crazy pills or something?

sounds no different

the original bass riff has been re-arranged slightly and there's an LFO modulating filter at the start of it now..hardly a wealth of work gone into it...maybe thats what constitutes a VIP mix though? right?

haha, didnt mean it in a bad way, just seems if any of the main room d&b guys make a tune thats successful then a vip/version is almost guaranteed.. im not cussing d&b either, i still buy a lot of it.

aware of some their old breaksy bits on bingo too, nice to hear them doing slower tempos again

think less vips should get released.. its exciting on a dancefloor when youve never heard it but not so much a few months later for a fiver

Imo that is the point of a VIP, it can't be too different to the original otherwise it's basically a remix.

I like it, it's enough to make it different to the original, and you cannot disagree that you wouldn't all brock out hard if this dropped at a club, we're all too used to the original.

26 Basslines is an example of a really bad VIP, compared to that this is fresh.

you know wot, after listening to it with a proper audio a couple times on that clip (insted of at plastic people with that unexpected bass battering me  )....

ive come to the conclusion that i prefer the original. they made the rhythm in it worse, how can u do that lol. a vip should be better!

stuff like this makes me question chase n status. they do some great productions but sum dodgey ones. you would think its cos they are finding their feet with dubstep, but they came with "bits" and "eastern jam" and those are sick but its gone downhill since then imo.

Not quite as much energy as the original imo. Can't quite put my finger on why though!
