Dank Morass & White Rhino team up this summer to bring you one of the most exciting new faces on the dubstep/grime scene - JOKER!

Championed by the pioneers of the dubstep sound and releasing some of the most sought after records in the genre to date, Bristol’s maverick beat maker Joker is bringing his searing synth-lines and subterranean bass to Brisbane’s Bar Soma on Saturday 6th December.

Aged just 19, Joker is an immensely precocious talent who burst onto the dubstep and grime scenes last year with the vibrant “Grimey Princess” and “Gully Brook Lane”. His productions and their wild synth lines are both instantly identifiable and impossible to classify. His musical peers include Rustie, Gemmy and Kode 9. The Hyperdub label boss and recognised tastemaker, identified Joker as the one to watch when he named him as his protégé for Mary Anne Hobbs' follow-up to her genre-defining Dubstep Wars special, Generation Bass, which was broadcast worldwide on BBC Radio 1 back in August.
