fortunately all my business back then was done via the net,
but tbh i mostly sold beats to rich white kids from the suburbs they appeared to be the only ones silly enough to waste £200-300 for basic looped beat lol for their "album" my rule back then was if you have talent ill work with u for free, if you don't or i feel your not making music for the right reasons you get charged!
back on topic though im a scummy student for a living.

I work on steps for my day job too. Hardwood staircases that is, along with installing / repairing / refinishing hardwood floors. No laminate bullshit. Solid flooring.
I bet 90% of you either a. have some type of computer job or b. are unemployed.

Being one of the 10% who doesn't work with computers yet remains employed, I contribute to the degradation of rain forests everywhere by working in McD's.
One positive is that by the time I get back at night, I'm busting to make beats!
(The rest of it is shit though)
