since the vexd duo moved apart, we've seen a killer release from Jaime, but nothing from Roly. anyone know of anything in the pipes?
vexd definitely put out some of the heaviest and most immaculately produced tunes in this genre. i want some more!!!
big ups to the both of you.

Where we are.
What's been happening.
Early 2007.
We've been working on a second album for a few months, it's coming together nicely.
London is getting on top of us though. It's time to move out. I go to Berlin, and Roly goes to Bristol. Pretty soon we find out how being in different countries is not conducive to writing an album together. Especially when we're playing 7,8 gigs a month.
2008.
Acceptance that this situation isn't changing any time soon. We put the second album on hold, slow down the gigs, and get busy writing solo tracks as Jamie Vex'd and Roly Vex'd. Everything I've heard since from Roly has been sick. And personally I'm loving writing my own material, perhaps more than ever before.
So, about the actual releases.
First, there's a Vex'd EP
Then I'm putting out a solo EP
Following that, Mu will be compiling the unreleased, the remixes, the side projects, the collaborations, and the brand new tracks together as an album release. It's not Degenerate pt 2. But for everyone wondering where we've been going since our first album, this next one will tell you.
Whether writing tracks separately or together, it's still ultimately Vex'd. We love writing music and we love playing it out. We'll continue to do so, now and in the future.
