was very good. brackles kicked it off with a wide selection of the duttiest garage ever made. followed by d1 who smashed it up with hard techno-infused workouts and his infamous beats doing the rounds at the moment. kode9 then came on and played half a set of 'funky' into a bit of the la stuff into some joker, mala etc etc. left before the end but all in all a really great night :)

out to the notts crew, london crew, brighton crew. was packed with lovely chaps/chapesses!!

bigup the fwd crew for providing another incredible night of music

I thought D1 and Kode9's sets were amazing. Really good stuff. My problem with it was that the mixer was being pushed too hard and was distorting. That club can sound amazing but the system was distorting last night and today I have a ringing ear.

brackles selection was insane.... so so good to hear jon e cash and wiley productions on that system.. 8)

Kode9 sets are ridiculously diverse now. he played about 400 different types of funky, wonky dubstep. SICK.

Have a guess

Really good night. Brackles smacked it. What I caught of D1 was sick. And only caught beginning of Kode's set but some of the funky he was playing was ridculously next level.

oh man, what a night, brackles set was HEAVY, real energy in it and great selection, d1 and kode 9 were pretty sick as well! didn't really get into the live funky as much as i thought i would but still enjoyed it, but maybe i was just too mashed to appreciate it....so much for 'just a couple of beers'

anyway - a heavy heavy night, big up the fwd>> crew for that!

yip, left ear is pretty fucked today even with earplugs. i always stand right by the left hand stack next to the booth so i can see whats going on. probably pretty dumb to stand that close to the hanging mid range speakers but i like the view and with even with out ear plugs i've little to no ringing befor really. when crazy d plugged in though it all got a bit to much. sounded really bad when den of drums went into poison dart. quite distorted. also alot if kode's own brand of 'hyper-funky' [just made this up, sounds almost as gash as 'wonky'] featured hi end synthy tones that sounded awesome but probably didn't do the earballs anygood.
overall awesome night though! excellent to hear Brackles drop some Jon E Cash sub low that got the wheel up. any one know what tune that was? thought i owned it but had a look and can't match the label to the one i saw brackles drop.

yet again, what the fuck is up with Zomby? was seriously looking forward to hearing Rumours & Revolutions on the system, surprised no one else played it!

Wicked night! My first fwd>> and definitely not the last... Can't believe I'd never made the effort before!

Loved the 2stepy vibes from Brackles and D1 played some quality dubstep stuff.
Had heard a lot of the funky Kode9 was playing on some of the Rinse shows but had never heard em on a decent system, so was going mad for them. Also loved hearing some wonky stuff in a club :D

Definitely gonna have to come next week as well... Sick lineup again!

Big up the fwd>> crew!

only really came down to see brackles after hearing good things, and he was fucking brilliant. has he got a radio slot?

d1 played a blinder as well, some lovely breaky tunes. shame about zomby. don't like funky myself but the place was going mental during kode9's set so he must be doing something right for someone

Was only about 6-7 funky tunes throughout the set (not one after the other -most of the time), the rest was dubstep/wonky/technoish kinda stuff. Very eclectic as always which is one of the reasons I loved it.

yeah the sound was a bit nuts at some points last night, even with earplugs my ears were ringing louder than usual today, and i was concious of the volume being a bit too high...

KODE SMACKED IT!! Loved the mad ear piercin noises over that funky funky percussion. Pure Waxer.
Dubstep got me into garage, lol. Brackles' set had strong elements of old and new production aesthetics. Loved the grime instrumentals in the middle of the set, got the floor movin :5:
Glad me and Felis repped at the last minute, its always a pleasure to go fwd :U:
I want my beats to sound like arrhythmia.

Be good if he did have his own show. For all the impatient crew though, he guested on Ruffage sessions a few weeks back. Its on the Sub FM archives.
