I've always wondered what the rejected Coil soundtrack to Hellraiser was like. I know I could probably buy it at great expense but I'm probably not "that" interested.

Go to typerecords.com and download Xela's mix called Grade A Maple. Its got a few horror tunes on it, and is a great mix in general.

I wouldn't really call Merzbow horror (although Music for Bondage is excellent). And Sunn I'd class as too ambient.
Nurse with Wound.
Some of Current 93 as well. Possibly.

the black album not 'horror' enough?

I can see where you're coming from, and although I would class their stuff as very dark, I probably wouldn't call it horror in the sense that I call Nurse with Wound horror. That said, the White albumsa are very dark.

shameless plug, but appropriate - this blog post was conceived whilst listening to a particular tune off white 1:

the bow bass + deep breathing intro made me look over my shoulder whilst I was out taking the pics. no lie. over active imagination perhaps, but properly managed to scare myself!
cheers for the NWW heads up!
