ive heard mixed things but im a big Linklater fan and a big rotoscoping fan so i imagine im gonna love it. cant wait to see it

Yeh i have seen it - thought it was quality...

..but then i thought Snakes on a Plane was good as well which i will probably come in for some stick for..:lol:

i am neither so i'm avoiding it - my mate who IS big on both linklater and rotascoping said scanner was "good, but not great".

personally i'm waiting for almodovar's volver with baited breath. should be incredible.. and snakes on a plane shd be a laugh too

i have been attempting to read the book with very little luck. its like pulling teeth. i can barely follow the plot, it jumps around too much for my taste

big waking life fan as well. might be one of the few movies from recent years i've rewatched. Scanner is sort of a let down. I don't think seeing it on a big screen does anything for it. Maybe wait for the DVD.

robert downey junior is hillarious though.

Should be pointed out that this is wrong. No Snakes on a Plane 2: Return of the Cobras if you do that.

Still, it's a good way to get free stuff though.

I think that's kind of the point with both Waking Life and A Scanner Darkly.

They're supposed to depict a dream world and a drug-induced haze, respectively.

Not seen yet, but spoke to some mates last night at the pub, and they thought it was ace.
