I've been DJing, mostly to crowds of one, since I was about 15 and ever since then have been playing about, mashing up beats and stuff, as you do! Since I was 13 ive been into jungle and drum and bass, but am pretty open minded generally as far as my musical taste is concerned, regularly listening to everything from Classical stuff to Aphex Twin (Gwely Mernans, tune!)
Loefah - Rufage was the first 'Dubstep' tune I heard on a Scratch Perverts album and straight away loved the moody attitude of it, but it wasnt until hearing Caspas mix of TC that I really started getting involved, Seeing/Hearing Coki, Caspa, Rusko and The Others at Fabric sealed the deal!
Ive recentely started getting into producing with a pretty simple set up of Ableton Live 6, Audacity, Behringer BCR-2000 and have been reading through this forum for a while and like the general vibe! Yes I like my moody, dirty Dubs, but dont judge me just yet! I want to know alot more about the genre, and production techniques and stuff, as there is so much variety in the Dubstep genre you can take influences from everywhere!
Well anyway I'll stop rambling, Hello all, nice to meet ya!
Right... How do I make this bass sound wobble...
