On the off night of the Biscuits NYE run, join us as we test the structural fortitude of the still-new Highline Ballroom in NYC.

Headlining will be Mrk 1, UK dubstep pioneer, with Barber's m80 Dubstation preceding, and Philly local Sonkin opening things up.

The event begins at 1am and goes well past 4, so bring your most comfortable swaying shoes and bring your toughest bassface!

m80 dubstation review

Post by borsodas » Tue Jan 20, 2009 6:24 pm

i wrote a review of this that showed up on jambase and is now up on my blog, http://www.musicandartsblog.com, it got all kind of criticism but i could give a shit what fluff head hippies say about it. i respect criticism about it from the dubstep community. my friend from high school is math head and he got me into the scene and everything i know about it is through him and i don't know much. everyone should come out to his parties in bushwick, called manic because the music hes creating now is much better then the house shit that he was doing. which is why he kind of left trouble and bass, i think that is a very admirable decision given that its much easier to stick with whatever is hot and making money rather then following your artistic vision.
