nice, warm track. I love the woody rim shot, and the really soft sub. I usually go for a riff or phrase on which to base a track around, but this is sort of nebulous which is really interesting. It's hard to pull that off but you did it really well. smooth!

Deep tune.

Would definately take a 320 for my own listen pleasure if possible.

hey man this is ruff

very original sound, excellent sound design with the muted noises across the board giving it a very nice feel. flowing treble in almost a brian eno/pete namlook style with that relentless rim shot as commented on earlier. love it.

thanks guys!
this tune is unfinished.. the feedback still means a lot to me.
also, i just posted another incomplete tune called "Aphelion".

keep in mind this is the first sequence, as it will likely change soon.

many thanks,
s

any feedback/thoughts on Aphelion?

i like precipice better than aphelion, im not sure i can quantify why though... basically the soundscape feels more sparse in aphelion, and im already sold on the rim noise from precipice. i think the bass is more palatable to me in prec, its a little more intense which makes the track carry more weight, but then it all depends on the setting. both are quite nice tunes.
