biscuits fans = generally the antithesis of low-pro.

tanks on bleeker, etc.

musically speaking though, i had a blast. was real impressed by incydes set that started the vibes off early. flylo, pritchard, luckyme flavor sounds.

everyday hustlin' with MC Lampshade aka Joe Nice was big. gutter music completely pummeled me on that system, starkey is gonna go off in february in a really big way. day n nite remix was fun as well.

couldv'e done without the hour+ of euro tech-house that got sandwiched between the dubwar sets though. once they gave it back up to the dubwar crew around 3, it was on. if you know, modem, drunken swagger, supersharpshooter rmx, untold- anaconda, when i was a yout' rmx (apparently gonna be WAR008 according to dq) all went off before the cops put an end to things around 4.

and i believe next month will be breakage as well as mike slott, which will slay.

an interesting night to say the least. great to see jua back in action.

The wooks and the NO2 mob shouldn't be confused tho.. there's definitly some kind heads out there who don't fully embrace that sort of outright waste-ism... the people with tanks tho, those kids are fairly relentless, fairly gangster, + pretty much only about their money.. that said, custies will still buy their balloons, so who do you blame? And if the cops are showing up then obviously a little bit of forward minded self-policing needs to be undertaken within the group before shit gets too out of hand.. like, way to go giving the man a reason to think we need to be controlled.. whatever was said about "the antithesis of low profile" - spot on.

The littering of the used balloons is just totally gross tho, weak! If gas peddlers had any vision at all they could get all that shit cleaned up in a jiffy just by offering a couple free balloons to a kid, its funny how even the messiest people can be motivated if the price is right..

thanks to those who were feelin the tunes... yeah it felt so good to drop modem ;D and to play some of the new flavor hip hop beats to warm things up... very nice.

shame about the drug use though, things ended a bit abruptly at 4... definitely not the usual dub war crowd... ha

yes, next month is jan 16th with breakage and mike slott. gonna go off!
