people behaved like dicks in croatia so they are not having it there again.
its a shame as it was beautiful and the set up was near perfect.
there was talk of having one in the alps and also one in amsterdam but dont think anything will be confirmed till end of january time.

The people in Petrcane were, on the whole, well nice. Missed out all the dickiness (which is a good thing), had just thought the locals were getting a bit stressed due to the loud music and excessive number of Brits on festival fever!

was told that it was the green spray can artist that didn't help public relations

i heard ten days in same place this year but thaht seems unlikely to me considering the graffitti and noise complaints but i would b happy with the same again just a slightly better lineup

they sent this msg on facebook today....
Just wanted to touch in with everyone and say a very happy christmas and new year. Shouts from everyone at basscamp outlook.
Obviously the most important part of the festival is the people and next year we want the same good vibes that were enjoyed throughout 08 on the main.
There were only a handful of pricks at last years festival (and we really mean 5 or 10 people out of 1500) - but those inconsiderate fuckers ruined the opportunity to use that site again in 2009. causes were shit tags all over the village, stealing of locals bikes and doing runners from apartments without paying. no need indeed.
That has cost us a huge amount of time and money (which we dont have) and the possibility of Outlook 2009 looked incredibly doubtful for some time. Hopefully there is light at the end of the tunnel though. . . .
Just wanted to let you know that Outlook 2009 will be going ahead with any luck, we are currently working our way through a shortlist of sites and will have a final decision on one by the end of january.
Anyone who has any bright ideas on possible sites please contact me because the more the better at this stage.
Outlook 09 is pencilled for the first or second weekend in september so get it in your diary.
We will no doubt find somewhere amazing, so to stay updated you can check in here or join our mailing list through the website -

Anyway, next location will be in somewhere in croatia or in some other country?
