eazy ppl,

just recently got albino 3 as ive seen the likes of rusko using it and also benga, I cannot seem to get a decent filthy sounding wobble bass out of it, anyone have any tips?

read the manual, then when you're done, read it again.

Then fiddle with knobs for a few hours!

Just route the LFO on the filter's cutoff and you're done.

You can't get the sounds you want until you know how everything in Albino works properly. And the best way to do so is to read the manual.

There isn't a shortcut.....

Get one of the presets, probably best to get the first one from deep basses, set the filter cutoff nice and low, and assign LFO1 to the filter1 cutoff in the mod matrix. Then drag the number between the 2 assignments to change their effects on the sound.

That will get you a basic wobble, now you layer things up and distort to get a dirtier wobble. Lots of spectral and sawtooth waves over multiple octaves will do nicely.

Albino 3 comes with a lovely set of saturation algorithms. There are four in total, and are situated next to the filters. I'd start by exploring these.

Next up, the filters themselves are fairly good too. Explore using notch filters, comb filters and low pass filters.

Regarding the filters in Albino 3, these can further be set either in series or to work parellel to each other. When it comes to making basses on Albino 3, this massivily alters the results, so beware!

Finally, there are some decent fx built in, so explore using the eq, reverb and chorus for starters.

As pointed out above, you may wish to read some bait threads on the subject posted elsewhere in this production sub forum. This will avoid anyone else calling you a tnuc for asking over asked questions!
