New to producing....
Right guys, I'm new to the site but I'm not new to dubstep. Been listening and involved about a year now. But I'm new to the whole producing thing.
I've been composing music since I was about 11, but can't seem to throw together a dubstep track. For my final GCSE Special Event composition I wanted to create a dubstep track. I've been trying and trying and just cant seem to nail it.
Any help, guides, advice would be extremely appreciated!
Cheers, Crash.

i have been playing guitar in bands for years but started making electronic stuff about three months ago.
my advice is to read as much as you can because producing is a lot more complex than i imagined.
my other advice would be to make sure you spend enough time getting the drums right before adding other tracks. Start with a simple beat, leave lots of space. Reverse cymbals sound good imo.
That should get you 10% there
