North American crew, it's on!

The name Mark One strikes wonder into each dancefloor it bounces off of.
A name recognised by most...but for those who don't know..
Mark One began DJing drum n bass many years back until connecting with the dubstep sound that was evolving out of south London. From this influence he began producing grime and has fast become one of the most sought after producers in the scene.
He met the MCÂ’s Goldfinger, JSD and Nika D through pirate radio in 2001 and they have since been working together as the Virus Syndicate. When one of his early tunes was dropped at Forward, things started moving and he became accepted into the wider 'Forward' scene. Since then Mark has appeared on various compilation albums and has had releases on Polydor's P Records, Soulja, Tempa, Texture, Immunity, Hard Livin, Vehicle, Southside, A.R.M.Y, Contagious and most notably Rephlex's GRIME compilation as well as having loads of offers to work with other labels.
He has appeared in a handful of magazines, including Deuce, Mixmag, B&S, Touch to name but a few, and was nominated for BEST GRIME PRODUCER at the 2003 Sidewinder awards and released his debut solo album, "One Way," on Planet Mu in 2004. After recently finishing a live tour around Europe (including dates at Sonar, Glastonbury, Rosskilde, Glade) Mark is now busy back in the studio finalizing new tracks for Planet Mu records. The second single of the recent Virus Syndicate album. the “Work Related Illness.” is “Ready To Learn” and has a video in production and will soon be following in the footsteps of “Slow Down” which is currently showing across UK and Europe via MTV.
Backed with a recent collaboration with some of Grimes leading figures- Trim, Jammer and Ears (Major List MC's remix), the Virus Manchester accent into the murky realms of Grime and has again sent more shock waves throughout this otherwise London based scene. Mark One has been remixing the likes of Fanny Pack (Gut), Prodigy (XL) and Seanie B (V2) and there are many more “Virus” collaborations in the pipeline.
With a handful of brand new releases coming out on Planet Mu and a brand new solo album in the cards, the time has come to spread the Mark One illness to North America once again, April 2006 is the time..
Depending on collective interest, appearances from Goldfinger, JSD and Nika D can be arranged to complete the full Virus Syndicate experience!
Interested parties should email info@thekonspiracygroup.com for further details as this will happen for the first two weeks of April.
