Had Michael Clayton, Thank you for Smoking and Ratatouillen in the last batch, all of them pretty good but Michael Clayton and Thank you for smoking are well worth watching.

ta for the suggestions so far, keep 'em coming...will check them out after work.

i love brazil, i'm really into dystopian films/literature so it's one of my favourites.

also if anyone knows an easy way of ripping dvds to my hard drive in avi format (or wmv etc) while keeping the file size below 1gb i'd be grateful, i've seen a few ways so far but they all involve about seven million programs.

Basicly, you'll have probably seen most of the films mentioned, so look out for this one.. it's called 'If...'

it's got Malcolm Mcdowell in it, was filmed in 1968 in a boarding school, it shows them putting up with all the shit and general life in the school, then they eventually pull off this massive armed resistence... good stuff, cult classic.

IT IS AMAZING. cannot recommend it strongly enough.

think visual feast, akin to hero (have you seen that?), combined with an awesome narrative, beautiful actors (gorgeous little italian girl is incredible in it) and you have one brilliant film.
