Some bloody good reading thus far, looking forward to the future bits. But Blackdown's blog, annoyingly won't let you leave comments if you don't have a blogger account. I don't so I'm leaving comments here:
Logan Sama -
Been real impressed with Logan, his shows always kill it and he is good at his job. But the bit about wastemen turning upto raves for £150!?? Gah, I turn upto to raves to play on a loud system and maybe get a free red stripe!
Hattie Collins -
I want to go to a rave in the carribbean! It's quite funny how popular and cross genre 'Midnight Request' is, although to be honest I wasn't a fan of the Mr. Keys output so far.
Vex'd -
I can never get over how cool it is that producers like Vex'd love their Grime. Everyone is quite keen on getting that dinstinction between the two genres, but the love from each side is quite overwhelming. For me that's why I loved Chef's set at Dubloaded so much, he played just quality riddems all night, regardless of it being either/or.

Yeah Bristol seems to have taken a hit to the record shop culture as well, both Imperial and Eat the Beat have now disappeared. There are definately a fair few regulars I always see down Rooted as standard. But are record shops going to carry on as we know it? I lways try and buy as much stuff through Rooted as possible. I like the people who work there, I like the community feel it has and I like the fact they have kept me in records since the day it opened. But for grime, I always have to go to Independence Records off the net.
Skepta -
Interesting read for sure, I never really caught the whole beef between Roll Deep and L Bizzle, Bizzle seems to have pissed off bare people. But to be honest, for me, he's done like to good beats and a few good bars and that's it. Got little time for Bizzle. The bit I love about Skepta is at the end, he says now he's got influence he's trying to use it to push other stuff through now and that makes him dappa. Where did this sense of community go in DnB?
