i think dj funk and dj gantman are the big names in the that scene.
dj sluggo has a nice dvd.
i think this booty site http://booty.be/ covers juke as well. juke aka hardcore house is part of the booty belt that runs from miami through atlanta to detroit and chi. havent found the best chi site yet.

I played a Juke set last night and it went down well, will be playing it to a bigger crowd next month as well. The hyper-hardcore element goes down well up here in Newcastle. I played some Jerk as well.
Seems there's only a limited amount of tracks though at the moment. Just the Juke Trax stuff, great though it is.
Where did you get your DJ Nate tracks from wise? DJ Nate is the one like, I'd do anything to hear that Evanescence sampling tune again, can't find it anywhere, Imeem seems to be finished with

This is the stuff that's really doing it for me. If anyone wants imeem rips PM me and I'll work on an upload. Got a few mutant jukestep bits up on the soundcloud, like "Drug Scene" and "Get Wrong". I know Headhunter is on this stuff, so big things happening.

Lovin this stuff... funny how things work sometimes... If you'd have told me back in the day when I was going to raves in Chicago that the stuff DJ Funk was spinning would turn into this Id have never believed you.
Wanted to give this a bump to see if anyone had anymore links or places to buy or download this stuff...
i'm goonna hit up beatport next payday and put sometthing together
feeling the energy in this music.

Imeem was a US music site a bit like myspace, there were a lot of juke tracks on it that you can't buy anywhere on the net.
Imeem rips are tracks recorded from the site.

If youre producing footworkin tracks, be sure to learn the dance first or you could get the accents wrong. footworking grooves and accents are way dif than getotech or house.
but you already know this...
FYI: juke is slang for dance. so there are juke style from all around the USA. Memphis Juke is like Krunk with a popping style that combines cwalk, running man and gliding. Miami Date is more booty tempo with a dance style thats more carrib salsa/dancehall - mixes with boppin and stickin.

totally. A lot of the DJ Rashad/JukeTrax stuff is really good but really polished and sounds more like sped up ghettotech or drum n bass influenced
I miss imeem
