Should i give up producing?

ive been there mate, got very disillusioned with the whole thing a while back and knocked it on the head for like 3 months or so

got back on it and attacked it with a totally fresh outlook

will get back to you on your beats though, im on my spare tower at the mo and it has no sound

I took a listen, and I don't see any reason to be hard on yourself. You have some good tunes.

that headline is just a promo effect, to get more clicks right?!

listened to all of the tunes in your player and they sound pretty decent. not the stuff that will get signed instantly, but these are pretty solid basics!
just keep up the work and we'll see what turns out...

but i guess the most important thing is that you have fun doing it, if that is not the case, just take a break and see if the fun comes back!

Thats the key. If you are having fun, who cares if you aren't knocking peoples socks off? I made shit tunes for YEARS before I came up with anything worthwhile.

ur tunes are pretty basic but dubstep forshure....dont give up you have a huge advantage on everyone else.....time.... your 16 ,imagine what youll sound like when your 18 and have dozens of songs under you

having fun making the tunes is key. I wish I had started making tunes when I was 16.

Nah don't give up mate, most of us have been there. When I started out I thought my tunes were shit but you can quickly get much better and sometimes when you look back at your older tracks you sometimes find that they were pretty cool and can use the ideas from an older track and remix it with your newer skills.

Dont stop mate.
A good thing to do is listen to other genre's of music for influence man.
Try and make your own unique sound. I listen to alot of metal and hip hop that isnt commercial.

Im open minded to everything and its helping my production abit.
Your only 16 just like me. If you keep at it you will get there.
I felt like giving up the other day but then an internet label asked me to release future tracks on there cos they liked my idea's.
It just made me wanna carry on...

also mate try and work with other producers/artists or just talk to them..get they're perspective on the whole thing.
Im gunna be working with a singer/guitarist in the future as soon as i upgrade my setup abit. I really cant wait to get at it as it is something i really want to do....

try and produce something different...
Produce tracks for mc's or something...it will help you.
Especially when they feel the beat it gives u a warm feeling man.

Dude, I think we all consider giving up at some point, but you need to just battle on through it.

I started making music at 16, and now I'm a decade in (and just beginning to establishing myself). There have been times when I've taken a long break, but after a 5 year hiatus I found myself aching to get back into what I enjoy most: making beats.

Keep firing out the tunes. There's promise there.

Just remember that you're best making music to please yourself, and if a by-product of that is that other people like your stuff, want to buy it/release it, great.

dont stop, the only way is up. if u feel ur shit is going downhill, take a break, listen to other genres of music and try producing it for a bit, broaden your horizons and then attack dubstep again with this new, more educated outlook. dont give up though

when i get writers block i go to bristol or london for a dubstep night and the ideas just come flooding back in. go find the biggest system u can and stick ur head in it. thats wot i do ...

Keep it up m8, your songs are pretty good. I was using sound recorder on windows to try and loop stuff together when I was 16(sounded terrible) and I kept going

solid tunes mate keep at it. if you're not havin fun then theres no point. My advice would be dont put everything you make on myspace or show it to other people, and make some non dubstep tunes, mak tunes that are purely just expressive for a bit. Then when you go back to makin some stompers you'll be a better producer for the experience.
