in web design its called hijacking. people buy up url's that have considerable notoriety, then force you to pay them to design a site for you, or else they won't let you have the url.
i don't know this person's intentions, but if the same things happened to benga then this is someone looking for some £.

same person did
www.hyperdub.co.uk which when we found it was also pointing at benga's page
we have been in contact with those who did it so i don't think its a big deal, although I'm still waiting for them to transfer it to us, so we remain to be convinced.

I don't know how someone can profess to run a site which is supposed to help the scene, and do things like this which so blatantly do not endear him to the scene. Why not do it properly and make it official?
