also, my lady is a Professor at a college so she gets .edu discounts so we were checking out academicsuperstore.com

I've also bought stuff from musicians friend & gaytar center

but Ebay is the WIN!

Yeah that is me too. Well I usually go to gaytar center in person. I like to let my 4 year old got nuts in the drum room. They love that.

I bought the last few items on ebay. Spending my money there makes me nervous but I have yet to be screwed. The next thing I am getting none of the shops have in my area and I can't find any deals online so I am just going to go with Musicians Friend.

really only ebay. anything else is purchased in store or from someone.

musicians friend, academic superstore, u-he, fabfilter, image-line website etc...


I suppose the only hardware gear place I shop is musicians friend though.

Not necessarily for gear it self, but lots of useful things can be found at

They do have some gear, but mostly I just get the materials to build cables from them, or replacement speakers, even bought a kit to redo the surrounds on some jbl's that had gotten torn up.

Is the only place I've ever found 5 pin DIN jacks for making my own MIDI cables, saved me a ton of cash.
