That was the first one I found on google but it looks like its for an older copy and nothing matched up; I know I'm being a lazy tnuc but I've had a look around on it for a bit to no avail.

I know how to use Kontakt and yea I'm onto Halion because its meant to be dead easy.

The one problem I had with Konkakt was the first time I used it....just changing midi output to omni and then I was away and able to mental using the thing.

I feel like I'm at the same place with this thing, I can't get it to read the MIDI info.

I've got it all routed, right, I can get sound; but only when a line drawn in Keyzone section on the appropriate key. When I draw across the range of the keys I'm using; it sounds terrible.

Surely I don't have to assign a program to each note just to play them...the way I've got it set up; I'd be better of pitching each note up n in cubase lol :(

Confused :(

click keyzone at the bottom of the halion interface, right click and import samples. they should then be mapped across the keyzone (if your using multisamples). then select the correct midi output channel and there you go. you can use the same instance of halion for other channels too by selecting different midi outputs and then assigning them to the correct track in your sequencer. if you need to add different effects to different sets of samples change the audio output of the given set (again at the bottom of the interface) hope this helps its bin a while since i used halion
