Quantization in FL

Hi folks!

This seems like a good place to ask: how do you quantize in FL? In Cubase, you have the 'drum grid' and you can choose the value of your note (straight or dotted) and you simply pencil it in. How do you do this in FL without simply increasing the number of steps? Just wondering because dealing with 64 or even 32 steps will be cumbersome and I would like to get 'right in there' and create some drone-y or glitchy effects.

Just starting my explorations into the electronic realm so I apologise in advance for the noob question hehe

Cheers!

send it to piano roll and add quantizing options?

its on the top, far right on the piano roll

if you click the right left arrow of the piano roll and go to tools, it has midi-tools and quantise is there, along with appregator and strum and some other cool things to work with.

you can also use the chop function, and set the value of the notes after you've put them on the grid, from there you can add and subtract notes as needed to get your groove rolling.

even noober question
