Booking prices?

Been putting on a few lowkey events in my town lately and have drummed up enough money to book someone half descent, i think!? Just wanted to see what i should expect in terms of prices?
I had Chef and LD in mind, but someone like ntype or Youngsta would be awesome too. Does anyone know how much these guys are charging? and on the other end of the scale how much would be to get some one like Benga or Mala in?
Any advice or ball park regions of money would be a great help. Cheers

..... price may depend on size of venue, door tax etc.
email agents or the artist (myspace / facebook) with details of your night and go from there.

Fantastic, that's exactly what me needed. They all say London but i guess that's just where they're based, the book their artists for any town in England right?

hmmm out of interest, for lets say a small venue, do you think we could be talking about more than 1500?

for 1 DJ? definitely not, you could pretty much have anyone you like for that money.

talking about money on a forum is a mess. please be professional. a thread like this just stirs up nothing but bad vibes.

I really don't see why? people are just curious and like to hear from peoples experiences. It's not like one guy is saying i paid £xxx for whoever, and then someone else is saying i paid £100 less.
Glad to hear £600 is enough to get most people, that's what i was hoping for, cheers.

one email to any of the agencies and you have all your answers. money discussed in public is just bad taste. period.

I don't know what they charge, but whatever Chef is asking is worth it, trust me. Ask about the 3 decks business. You will enjoy.
